Missy Elliott to Release Greatest Hits R.E.S.P.E.C.T. - 2:50 p.m.

Missy Elliot hasn't been on the scene for a minute. Not in the US at least. In a few weeks she'll be in Asia collecting foreign dollars.(it's all good when the exchange rate kicks in). You'd think she would have a new album coming out. That lane that she rides is pretty much open. Unless you want to push Fergie in there. But she's still on break, in the meantime a greatest hits album is set to be released on September 5th called Respect M.E.

In Asia she doesn't have to squeal that request. Listen how an article in a Korean paper describes her..

"Missy Elliot will be in Korea on Sept. 6-8. Elliot, who picked up back-to-back best female rap solo Grammys in 2003 and 2004, is often called the Queen of Rap. Handling production of big names like Janet Jackson, Justin Timberlake and Christina Aguilera, she is also a godmother of American Pop.

Pop Godmother? Bowing down like that. No wonder she's overseas.
