These past few weeks, Jada Pinkett-Smith has been on the media/talk show circuit in support of Jaden and The Karate Kid. On Monday, she was on The George Lopez Show. They talked about Jaden's acting and how she protected him on the set of The Karate Kid. Willow's mohawk was a part of the conversation too. On an earlier David Letterman appearance, Jada simply said Willow's hair was completely her thing. Explaining that she and Will allow Willow to be a free spirit. With George Lopez, Jada got into it a little more. If you thought Willow was channelling Rihanna, or by chance, Janelle Monae, you'd be wrong. Will Smith and Jada Pinkett-Smith were guests at a Turner broadcasting industry event last night, held at the Hammerstein Ballroom in NYC. Be honest, outside of the Obamas, they are easily the best looking black celebrity couple on the map. You know, it's that positive glow. Last night The Secret Life of Bees premiered at The Academy Of Motion Arts & Sciences in Beverly Hills. The movie is an adaptation of the book by the same name written by Sue Monk Kidd. Don't know a thing about it? Just picture Dakota Fanning (up above) in the early 60's South having to leave her town after her nanny (Jennifer Hudson) insults a group of white men. Last night Jada Pinkett-Smith was on The Late Show with David Letterman. Jada was there to promote her role in The Women, a movie featuring nothing but the female species. If that sounds a little Ellen to you, you'd be on target. Jada plays a lesbian writer named Alex Fisher. Jada and Eva Mendes had a dancing and kissing scene that was cut from the final print.
