On Thursday, Rihanna was spotted leaving Stringfellows in Soho, London. Mental note: Stringfellows is a gentleman's club. This was her second time there. In 2007, Kanye West invited Rihanna to party with him at Stringfellows and she enjoyed it so much that she returned, this Thursday, with a group of 50 friends. And the party don't stop.. On Monday night, Rihanna performed at London's O2 arena, for one of eight dates on the UK leg of her "Last Girl on earth" tour. What does she do after an hour and a half of singing and kinda, sort of dancing? More of the same - this time fueled with alcohol; rum to be exact. After her O2 show, Rihanna and a friend were spotted at Mahiki, a Caribbean themed cocktail bar she and many other 'eclectic' types frequent whenever they're in London. It's the 25th of December! Merry Christmas to all and to all here's a damn good video. As a late night/early morning present here's Rihanna's "Hard" video featuring Young Jeezy. This video is light years ahead of most quote-unquote R&B videos. You're familiar with Rihanna's packaging and she continues to keep it at a high level. Sales of Rated R do not reflect the quality of the album. Side effect of that CB scrap. Maybe once this video gets enough play folks will cycle back and pick it up. Over the weekend I was two fingers close to Tweeting about the helicopter and plane crash over the Hudson River. That's where those kinds of stories end up now. That helicopter was part of a fleet operated by Liberty Helicopters. If you recall, last week I posted a story about Rihanna using their services to fly back from the Hamptons. Well, a few minutes ago I got a call from Rihanna's management, informing me that she actually used Zip Aviation to make the trip. They felt it was important that Rihanna not be connected with the tragedy in any way. Correction made. I forgot to ask how much the flight cost. Over the weekend, Rihanna ducked the rain sprinkling NYC by taking a trip to the Hamptons. Yesterday she was spotted making her way back to the bricks, with the help from Liberty Helicopters. For the hedge fund/Wall Street types, flying over the heads of the regular folk, as they curse traffic and the four-hour drive on the Long Island Expressway, is the only way they'd ever make the trip. more..

Someone should stitch together all of the celebrity responses to the Chris Brown and Rihanna mess. Actually don't know that it would be anything different than what we the people have been saying. I personally think they've both done permanent damage to their careers: Chris Brown post-fight photo and Rihanna post-reconciliation. There is another view that the situation has been blown up and people need to let them work it out beyond the blog posts, TV, radio and gossip magazine covers. Dawn Richards holds that opinion. Speaking to MTV she said.. "I think they're both great artists. It's a shame and I think it's their business and it sucks that it has to be out there. The media attention is like a microscope — everybody's in your stuff. It's their business and whatever they choose to do with it, I wish them luck. It's not my business. Yesterday afternoon Chris Brown was in a Los Angeles courtroom for his arraignment. The judge officially identified Rihanna as the victim in the case and charged Chris Brown with two felonies: assault likely to cause bodily harm and making criminal threats. Chris Brown didn't enter a plea (guilty/not guilty), his attorney asked for a continuance, which means the arraignment is on hold until April 6. Rihanna wasn't in court but her attorney Donald Etra told the judge there was no need for a 'stay away' order, "Rihanna requested that no such order be issued," he said. more..
