The answer to that question is a big, fat yes! I won't even lean this towards being breaking news. Venus and Serena bought an ownership stake in the Miami Dolphins in 2009. Which is why heading into the 2012 NFL season, Serena Williams is representing the team in the NFL's new women's wear ad campaign, appropriately named, "It's My Team."

This morning, Serena Williams and Kanye West are both at the top of the news for losing their cool in big moments. Let's talk Serena Williams here. On Saturday, she participated in the U.S. Open semi-final against Kim Clijsters. When serving during a potential match set, Serena Williams was called for a double fault. After both calls, Serena yelled at the female line judge and shook her racket in her direction. Saying, "I swear to God, I’m fuckin’ takin’ this ball and shovin’ it down your fuckin’ throat… I swear to God.” Because of an earlier warning for breaking her racket in frustration, Serena Williams was given a point penalty which cost her the match. more..

First it was Serena Williams losing to Russia's Elena Dementieva, now Venus is following her sister to the shower. Today China's Li Na upset Venus Williams 7-5, 7-5, knocking her out of the Olympic tennis tournament. After Venus schooled Serena in this year's Wimbledon, and winning two Olympic gold medals in 2000, Venus looked back to form and was considered the favorite heading into the Beijing Olympics. Venus Williams won the matchup against Serena Williams in this year's Wimbledon. Nothing against Serena, but I was rooting for Venus. In their last meeting, Serena ran back and forth over Venus. It was time for the older sister to win; beyond that, Venus seemed to be more focused. The win gives Venus five titles, and one more Rosewater Dish to hang on her wall. I've got to give this story nod to Bossip. Who knew Serena Williams graduated past Myspace blogs to posting on her own site? We sometimes forget that celebrities and athletes are real people. Serena Williams is a great example. Here is a certified star in the tennis world, worldwide championship titles in her name, yet at heart she's still a 20-something chick, doing 20-something things. On Myspace she posts photos of herself from magazine shoots and candids from her digital camera/cellphone. It isn't some quiet as kept, company intern/publicist doing the 'fan' thing, you can tell she's the person who logged in.. user name.. password.. and posted them.
