Allen Iverson Traded to the Denver Nuggets
There have been nothing but rumors surrounding Allen Iverson’s future, but it sounds like there is finally definitive news of his future home. Sources in the NBA’s front office are confirming that the 76ers have a pending deal with the Denver Nuggets that would swap AI for Andre Miller, Joe Smith, two first-round 2007 draft picks and a few bench players.

Sounds like an absolute steal by Denver, which makes sense when they’re committing crimes in the NBA already, knocking out lil rookies and short guys. *joke* The Nuggets will have a starting lineup featuring Carmelo Anthony, Allen Iverson, JR Smith, Marcus Camby and whoever is playing power forward for them these days.
Once Carmelo gets back from his 15 game vacation (Jan 20, 2007), Iverson should be comfortable in his new light-blue uniform and they will commence a terror campaign on the west coast.
Philadelphia reportedly turned down a deal from the Clippers for Corey Maggette and Cuttino Mobley. Which is a better deal as far as working bodies. Play AI2 at the one, Corey Maggette at guard and Cuttino Mobley fills in for the always inconsistent Kyle Korver.
On the other hand they will have 2 first round picks in a draft that is supposed to be deep; they can begin rebuilding the team. Good luck with that :/
The deal should be finalized by the end of the day.

Iverson fined for missing practice in Detroit. Are we shocked about that??? I always had respect for Joe Dumars as a GM but the trade for Iverson was a Boneheaded one at best. Iverson is a selfish, me first player that will NEVER help a team win a championship and that is reason to fire Joe Dumars for that trade.

Detroit picks up Allen Iverson and now they are going down the tubes. Does everyone see the pattern with this dude. He is a selfish ball hog that doesn’t know how to play team ball. I will give him credit though, He is now trying to learn how to play team ball but his ass should have learned this a long time ago. It’s going to be a shame when the NBA allows this guy into the Hall of Fame. How can he even be thought of as greats like Michael Jordan, Larry Bird, Magic Johnson and a host of other greats? Iverson is what he is and that clearly isn’t a Hall of Famer.

The last 3 post, which by the way are the same person, are the people that think Iverson is a great player. Uneducated people that don’t know anything about the game of basketball. He does have a playing style. That style is shoot first and later for my team mates, The sad part is one day he will make the hall of fame and that will be tragic to the game of Basketball.
