You heard the song, now see the video. It’s Chrisette Michele’s “Epiphany.” The first single off her album of the same name, due May 19. That was a quick song-to-video punch. Given the subject matter, the video is pretty much what you would expect. Ironically, what gives it multi-view value is Chrisette Michele’s undeniably smoking vocals.

On Monday, Chrisette Michele performed at the Canal Room in New York City. The scoop, from a dude leaning heavy on the crab puffs: Chrisette is a sure thing and Def Jam’s fully behind her sophomore offering. How did he come to that conclusion?
