Flickerazzi: Heineken Red Star Soul Showcase in Los Angeles

The Heineken Red Star Soul showcase kicked off in Los Angeles last night.

The showcase is a series of invitation only concerts to celebrate emerging and established singers. At each concert Heineken presents the Independent Achiever Award to a local rising star. The concerts actually begin on Sept. 12th in Philadelphia and run thru Nov. 8th. Last night was a smaller event. Common and Raheem Devine performed but it was mostly about building buzz and meeting with friends.
