Last night at Harlem’s Hue-Man bookstore, Diddy’s former umbrella man, Fonzworth Bentley had a signing for his new book “Advance Your Swagger.” Taking on what he calls ‘the Golden Age of Disrespect’ Fonzworth’s book demonstrates how we can add a touch of class and dignity to our lives.

I am confused. Why would he write a book about manners when his story about making a career with absolutely no talent is more interesting. I would be more moved to buy a book from him because without the SEX that Superhead provides he has been in the clique with everyone in hip-hop. It would be a good how-to-book for people to get into the industry when they are not an artist or a whore.

UNFORTUNATELY THE PEOPLE WHO NEED IT MOST ARE PROBABLY NOT LITERATE ENOUGH TO UNDERSTAND IT, AND THOSE WHO ARE (LITERATE) ARE TOO CAUGHT UP IN THE COUNTERCULTURE TO GIVE IT CREDENCE.

This book is a must read for the young and the old, who need to “Advance Your Swagger”.  Especially for those young adults who are freshman in college to those who just graduated from college.  This book has all the tips you need for your career and everday living.  So to the haters, please stop hating and take note.

Why are there so many people hating on this man for writing a book about manners. People please. If you think you know so much, why don’t you write a book. Where’s your talent? Where’s your ‘skills’. If you feel like this is a joke, I don’t see you on television, hosting reality shows and featured in movies.

my point is..

Before any of these ‘haters’ can judge someone, maybe they need to get their game tight and write a book on how to advance their swagger.. oh I’m sorry.. you don’t have your crap together like he does, haha.

This IS a joke and anyone who thinks otherwise is a joke right along with this umbrella carrying fool and his book on “manners”. Where are his skills??? He has none. He has credibility because he was Diddy’s gopher. What kind of skill is that? Where’s your book Angie B? What’s your skill? If it’s being a cashier that’s not a skill.

Not everyone is fortunate enough to have the opportunities or connections to make it straight into the entertainment business. He has built his career up from nothing even if that meant being Sean Comb’s personal assistant. So many people in the entertainment business have had menial jobs in the past. You don’t get anywhere without hard work. True, he is famous for being P.Diddy’s personal assistant, but if he didn’t have any talent, he would have stayed there. Evidently, he did not.

Carrying umbrella is a job like any other one, it doesn’t mean that’s what he is,this was not his life purpose…proof! For me it just mean that he’s a very courageous man to be able to do this job in public and then move up in the industry. “Bravo l’artiste” and don’t worry if people are hating on you , it’s normal when you look too good people just hate on you because it make them feel less of a loser!
