This morning Morgan Freeman was driving a friend’s 97 Maxima on Highway 32 in Mississippi when his car ran off the edge of the road and flipped three times. The friend (Demaris Meyer) was in the car at the time. The jaws of life were needed to pull them from the wreckage.

Initial police reports suggest Morgan Freeman nodded off at the wheel, though a further investigation is being conducted.

Morgan Freeman broke his arm, shoulder, and a couple of ribs, but despite the injuries, was joking at the scene of the accident and is said to be in good spirits at the hospital.

This could have easily been a bucket list ending story.. this good news calls for a Jelly Belly moment.
