Rihanna Chops Back from a Weekend in the Hamptons

Over the weekend, Rihanna ducked the rain sprinkling NYC by taking a trip to the Hamptons. Yesterday she was spotted making her way back to the bricks with the help of Liberty Helicopters. For the hedge fund/Wall Street types, flying over the heads of the regular folk, as they curse traffic and the four-hour drive on the Long Island Expressway, is the only way they’d ever make the trip.

As noted in ““Hamptons, It’s All Altitude”.. “On Monday morning from Manhattan, you can see so many [helicopters] coming in it’s like a cloud.  ‘The high-end people with bulletproof net worth are continuing to fly during the down economy. ‘But I am also starting to see more entrepreneurial people, and people who are just incredibly fed up with the traffic. The attitude is changing because people who do business in New York see the traffic and say, ‘My time is worth more than that.’ ‘’

Liberty Helicopter charges $3,500 to charter a six-seat helicopter one way from New York to East Hampton. I guess the rumors of Rihanna being down to the last 20K in the bank were unfounded, or maybe she got a taste of President Obama’s stimulus cash. *joke*

Could be an out of focus camera lens, but Rihanna looks like she’s putting on weight.
