Sherri Shepherd Not Sure if the World is Flat. “That’s Not Important To Me.”

Wow! I thought this was a joke. Sherri Shepherd, the new member of the View’s bird gang, was asked by Whoopi Goldberg if the world was flat and she honestly answered..

SHERRI SHEPHERD: I don?t know.

WHOOPI GOLDBERG: What do you think?

SHEPHERD: I never thought about it, Whoopi. Is the world flat? I never thought about it.

BARBARA WALTERS: You’ve never thought about whether the world was round or flat?

SHEPHERD: I tell you what I’ve thought about. How I’m going to feed my child. How I?m going to take care of my family.

WALTERS: Well you can do both.

SHEPHERD: Is the world flat has never entered into, like that has not been an important thing to me.

Sherri Shepherd can be the poster person for “The Dumbing Down of America.” How can someone like this, or Elisabeth with her Jesus, Mary, & Joseph dolls, discuss hot topics?” I enjoyed watching the view during morning coffee… getting a few laughs - especially with Joy but it won’t be part of my morning ritual any longer.

Have mercy—Sherri needs to quit her job, apply for disibility, go back to elementary school. How does she find her way home? Sure the Bible implies that the world is flat but come on—we have pictures now.

How in the world in this day and age does someone have the opportunity to co-host a show like the view, without a basic education.The unfortunate part of this is that she is actually telling the truth as she understands it, which is even more disturbing. I wont be watching that show anymore, how insulting.
I wonder how she gets through the day. The view should send her somewhere so she can get help. i feel sorry for her , as she does not understand.

I was absolutely dumbfounded when she said that. I kept on expecting her to pull out a joke, but she—seemingly proudly—kept to her conviction that she didn’t have the time to contemplate it. AND—this is how sad the view has become, the other women just let her get away with it. I decided to stop watching. It’s too painful if type of flat-out ignorance is left unchecked under the guise of religious freedom.

WHAT AMAZES ME IS THE PEOPLE WHO ARE SAYING THAT THERE IS A BASIC ANSWER TO THIS. JUST BECAUSE SOMEONE TOLD YOU THAT THE WORLD IS FLAT THAT DOSEN’T MEAN THAT IT IS TRUE. SOME PEOPLE BELIEVE ANYTHING THAT THEY ARE TOLD. HEY, BY THE WAY I AM 8 FEET TALL. DO YOU BELIEVE ME?!!!

YOU ARE DUMBER THAN SHERRI. YOU ARE STILL DEBATING WHAT SHAPE THE EARTH IS.THE GOVERNMENT DID NOT MAKE A STATEMENT ABOUT THE SHAPE OF THE WORLD. NO SCIENTIST PROVED THE WORLD WAS FLAT AT LEAST 550 TEARS AGO. SINCE THEN COUNTLESS PEOPLE CIRCUMNAVIGATED THE GLOBE AND NOT ONE FELL OFF IMAGINE. HOW MANY SCIENTIST HAVE ORBITED THE EARTH NAD EYE WITNESSED ITS SHAPE. STUPID!!!!!!!!!
