Swizz Beatz Denies Alicia Keys Wrecked his Marriage ↔ Again!
Over the last few months Mediafakedyouout has posted rumors that Alicia Keys and Swizz Beatz are secretly dating. In fact the NY Post’s Page Six once ‘spotted’ them having lunch in Los Angeles. This friendship is the rumored reason Swizz Beatz and his wife Mashonda are getting a divorce.
Last week, Alicia Keys supposedly threw a surprise birthday party for Swizz Beatz at the Guggenheim museum. With these stories circulating Alicia Keys is being labeled a homewrecker by many women in blog world and it’s gaining momentum.
Swizz Beatz has spoken out against this scandalous and surly gossip.
In a US magazine exclusive Swizz Beatz said..
“I can no longer ignore the harmful rumors, that my friend Alicia Keys is in any way linked to my marital circumstances or to the decision that [my wife] Mashonda and I have made to separate. I am disappointed that some have chosen to try and tarnish Alicia’s reputation by irresponsibly implicating her in a situation that she has absolutely nothing to do with.”
Did the battery run low on the recorder? Lost the cell signal? Swizz could have just as well said nothing and kept it shuffling. Why give this exclusive to US Magazine? I don’t even know that they’ve ever reported the rumor. This isn’t the first time he’s spoke on it..
This past June, Swizz gave MTV a more forceful answer.
“That sh-t just looks like drama. They got another big name involved. No, I’m not doing [any] f—king interviews. Only thing I’m commenting on is music-related. I don’t comment on my personal life. Why start now? You start commenting on that sh-t, then they start twisting it out. I’m not gonna speak about nothing. They [gave Mashonda] two pages in Hip Hop Weekly. She didn’t even say nothing about Alicia. They blew it up on MediaTakeout.com. They flipped that into some other sh-t.
I’m not hiding anything. I can see if I was hiding something.
I’m a grown man. Nobody is living no perfect life.
Mashonda has a single coming out that I funded, photo shoots that I funded. We made our statement that we’re still working together. They didn’t wanna believe it. I said I would be continuing to support her career.
Nobody wants to look at that sh-t. They wanna look at ‘Alicia Keys.’
That sh-t is ignorant.”
True enough but by speaking out again Swizz Beatz has put even more people on to a story he wanted to keep private, and Alicia Keys, she’ll be expected to say something about this friendship too.
If you notice, he didn’t deny that they are dating. Alicia Keys just wasn’t the reason for the split.. Haha. That’s not believable. One taste of the Keys is all it took to spin ol boy’s world. He took a look at what he had vs. what he could have.
There isn’t a man in the world who would refuse super .. << watch cho’ mouth!

I actually think Swizz made a pretty good decision to speak out on it. The rumors had been swirling for a while and I was actually waiting on him to come out and really tell people to put an end to all the gossip. Giving a semi-rant to MTV doesn’t really count in my book. Even though it shouldn’t be necessary, I think it was a pretty good PR move.
