Take a Bite of Burger King’s $185 Burger

It’s around lunchtime, how about going out for Burger King’s latest offering, The Burger. Simple name; not so simply made.
It’s a cheffed up combination of Japanese Wagyu beef, white truffles, tempura onions sauteed in Cristal champagne, a sprinkle of Himalayan rock salt, and topped with a saffron bun.

This can be yours for the tiny price of $185.

A few years ago, a Manhattan restaurant offered a $100 Kobe beef burger, but the Guinness Book of Records is set to label Burger King’s as the most expensive in the world.

The Burger is available in the UK. Restaurant critics have dismissed the exorbitant price as a marketing gimmick, but David Kisilevsky, Burger King vice president of marketing, put this spin on it:“The Burger is an extension of Burger King’s quality burger menu and is aimed at burger aficionados, looking for the ultimate burger taste experience. It reflects our ongoing commitment to producing the best quality burgers for a range of different pockets and reinforces our quality credentials.”
