Tichina Arnold Talks Reality TV and Getting Paid.. Enough

This week Tichina Arnold was interviewed by The Hollywood Reporter. Tichina just wrapped the third season playing Rochelle Rock (Chris Rock’s mama) on Everybody Hates Chris. The fourth season is set to roll on October 3, 2008. Yeah, the post Martin days have been kind to her.

In the THR interview Tichina was asked if she would ever be on a reality TV show and she mentioned a talk show offer (which she turned down.)

You gotta believe that either or both of those options will be on the table if Everybody Hates Chris falls out of the CW lineup. They’ve been pushed to Friday nights, which is never a good sign.

And she laughs at the pay check question, as if she’s just making ends meet.

I remember when Flex was making $10,000 an episode on Homeboy’s in Outer Space. She’s doing better than laughable.
