What’s Cookin With Jazze? Bologna and Cheese Omelettes, Fruit Roll Up Chicken and Pork Chop Pizza

If it’s not basketball, on the weekends my TV is stuck on The Food Network. There’s something addictive watching Bobby Flay destroy chefs famous dishes, riding with Guy Fiero for a cross country diner trip, and the inspiration for my own creations found in an Iron Chef battle.

Outside of Down Home with the Neely’s and the fresh debut of Sunny Anderson’s Cookin for Real << former Hot 97 radio host, you won't find much in the way of black personalities on the network.

That's alright, if you want soul food, there is always "What's Cookin with Jazze."

Apparently, when Jazze Pha isn't making beats, he's directing a cooking show for Super-Deluxe. K.I.S.S.: He invites celebrity friends in his kitchen for some Jazze specialties

Lil Duval learns how to make the perfect bologna and cheese omelette.

Kandi from Xscape joins him for 1/2 of his Fruit Roll Up Romance to Dance chicken

And then there’s little Emanuel lewis, eating a big ass pork chop pizza. He likes it!

Haha. This belongs on BET, yesterday.

I too enjoy watching the food network on the weekend when basketball and football are not on. But those two shows cooking with the Neely’s and Sunny Anderson are just bad. Don’t get me wrong seeing our folk hook up dishes on a nationally televised station is cool but the shows are just unbelievably tacky to say the least. Take for instance the Neelys a family oriented cooking show the the over exaggerated loudness of the wife and the quite and professional demeanor of the husband just don’t mix making it unbearable to watch for no more then 5 minutes. And the Sunny Anderson girl as fine as she may be stealing recipes from mexican street vendors in houston how original is that. definitely smashable but boo lets just get a number 6 at Wendy’s instead you don’t have to cook.

If you want a good professional african-american cooking show you should all checkout chef G.Garvin on the TVOne Network. That is cooking at its best without the cheesy we black and we cooking up a storm routine.
