Doug and Jackie Christie Being Sued
Doug Christie of the NBA's Sacramento Kings and his wife Jackie are being
sued for harassment and discrimination by a former employee of the Kings
organization. The employee, Stephanie Shepherd claims that she was fired as
the team's manager of media relations because she gave Doug Christie a phone
message and his wife Jackie does not allow him to have any contact with
women under any circumstances unless she is present. This is sad but true.
The lawsuit was filed in May in Sacramento County Superior Court and alleges
sexual harassment, unlawful retaliation, gender discrimination, violation of
civil rights, battery and infliction of emotional distress.
The suit names Doug and Jackie Christie, Shepard's supervisor, Troy Hanson, Kings general manager Geoff Petrie, Kings owners Joe and Gavin Maloof, Maloof Sports &
Entertainment and Sacramento Kings Ltd. Partnership as defendants. She is
seeking unspecified damages, attorney fees and costs.
Shepherd claims that when Doug Christie was traded to the Kings in the
2000-2001 season, as the only female worker to have direct contact with the
players, she was warned of the Christies strange relationship and Jackie's
strict rules. Before being fired by the Kings, Shepherd personally delivered
a phone message to Doug. The next day, Jackie Christie aggressively
approached Ms. Shepard and instructed her never to speak to Mr. Christie,
regardless of the professional circumstance. Shortly after this incident, Jackie complained about Ms. Shepherd's contact with her husband and Shepherd's duties declined and she was eventually fired.
Her lawsuit alleges that Jackie Christie has physically threatened
her on numerous occasions and purposely bumped her in passing more than
once.
Okay, this is so ridiculous. Doug and Jackie Christie are the two biggest
weirdos on earth. She makes all these crazy rules and he abides by them. The
couple has two children together and Jackie has a child from a previous
relationship. With three children, one would think that Jackie Christie must at
least be a stay-at-home-mom. That crazy bitch is doing no such thing. She
attends all but 2 or 3 of Doug's away games and all of the home games. She
also sits in on practice. Who the hell is raising the babies while inch high
private eye is all on his case 24/7?
When she goes to away games she follows the team bus in a car and she talks to Doug on her cell phone and they look at each other while they talk. If his teammates had any good sense they would take his phone and throw it out of the window. Who does stuff like
that?
Jackie does not allow Doug to sign autographs for females even when she is
present. She yells at female autograph seekers and tells them to leave her
man alone. If they persist, she threatens them. I'm sure if it goes past
that, she and her man will jump the women. When he's on the court playing,
they are giving each other hand signals that resemble gang signs and she is
coaching him from the stands. Doug has his very own private locker room at
home and away games, because female employees are in and out of the locker
rooms providing the players and coaches with information. Jackie does not
allow her man to be seen by other women.
He is also not allowed to be interviewed by any female reporters unless she is present. There are certain female sports reporters that he is not allowed to speak to at all because
this woman is so insecure. Doug Christie is okay with all of this and was
even quoted saying, "'Every conversation I've ever had with a woman since we've been married, besides my wife, she knows about."
The couple has a huge wedding ceremony every year to renew their vows. The worst of it all was the time when Doug got into it with one of the Lakers and both teams
started fighting during a game. This chick ran on to the court and jumped
into a fight that included Shaq. She is tiny as hell; Shaq could have flung
her little ass off the court. She will risk life and limb for this man. These two are just retarded. Jackie Christie is gonna run up on the wrong bitch and get her ass whipped one day. Don't let me see them on the street. I'm gonna ask Doug for an autograph just so she can talk shit to me and then I'm gonna punch her in the mouth. After that, I'm gonna run because I don't want her and her husband both trying to fight me.
This woman, Stephanie Shepherd probably has a pretty good case on her hands
because all this nonsense about Jackie and Doug has been documented. The
Toronto Raptors even warned the Kings that Jackie was going to be a problem
if Doug played for them. She played a big part in Toronto getting rid of him
in the first place. They were tired of her shit. The other Kings make fun of
Doug all the time, but he thinks it's all in good fun. I don't know why he
doesn't know that they're serious.
I hope Stephanie Shepherd comes out of this one with all the Christie's money and as the new owner of the Sacramento Kings. Jackie Christie and her son, I mean her husband, are out of control.
I am also mad that the Maloof Brothers who own the Kings. They put up with her nonsense. Doug Christie was never the player he was expected to be. He needs to be waived and gone from the league forever. He will not be missed. I don't understand how doing all this crap makes her happy. She obviously does not trust her husband further
than she can see him, which must be why she makes sure she is everywhere he
is. She's a menace to society and should be behind bars.
The worst part of it all is that Doug Christie is about the ugliest thing in the NBA. Well not quite, but damn close. This woman is acting like she's married to Chris Webber or Jimmy Jackson, or any one of the attractive players on the Kings roster. He is probably not on the top of the most scandalous groupie's list, let alone some poor woman that's just trying to do her job. I am definitely wishing Stephanie Shepherd all the luck in the world with this one.
Suge Knight Arrested...Again!
Death Row Records founder and CEO Marion "Suge" Knight was arrested last
Friday for what may or may not be a parole violation. It's been reported that Suge allegedly punched a parking attendant outside a club in Los Angeles. He was arrested for the alleged incident and is being held without bail. Suge was supposedly upset that his car was unavailable once he got outside of the club, so he proceeded to hit the parking attendant.
The California Board of Prisons will deliberate in a month as to whether or not
these charges are credible. In the meantime, Suge is being held at the
Men's County Jail in downtown Los Angeles.
The fact that there is no concrete evidence that Suge actually hit this man is very shady. How do you hold someone in jail without bail because they might have hit someone, but nobody is sure? What kind of madness is that? Suge is the size of a damn mini mall, I'm sure if he hit a man in Los Angeles, I'd have surely felt if over here on the east coast.
Now, I know I am always calling Suge a troublemaker and a bully, but now it seems that
the police are just picking on him. I won't say he's being picked on for no reason, because while he's in jail, damn near half the music world can sleep in peace. I'm sure bullshit like this just makes Suge want to hurt Snoop and all his other enemies even more. They better leave that man alone, he's crazy.
Jack Osbourne Addicted to Oxycotin
Jack Osbourne star of MTV's hit reality series,
The Osbournes recently
spoke with MTV about his recent stint in rehab for a previously undisclosed
drug addiction. For the first time ever, Jack admits that he was addicted to
the prescription pain killer Oxycotin. Oxycotin is prescribed by doctors to
relieve pain, but in recent years has become increasingly popular with
youngsters like Jack. The pill form of the drug can cause respiratory
complications and it can be fatal when crushed and snorted, it is similar to
heroin in this form.
Of his decision to go to rehab Jack says, "I took myself out of the picture
for a second and I looked around at every single person in the room, at who
they were, how old they were and what they had going on in their lives. A
lot of them were near 30, unemployed, living off their parents. There were
heroin addicts; there were the world's biggest couch potatoes. And it was
like, 'I don't want to be like that. I don't want my life to be controlled
by a drug.'"
"I want to be in control of my life. I was really loaded and I just sat on
my mom's bed and I just said, 'I am going to go pack my bags. I'm ready
to go. I want to go, I need to go.'"
MTV News will air the special on Tuesday, July 8 at 11 pm eastern time. During
this show Jack will discuss how his addiction began, what drove him to
rehab and how difficult it was to rehabilitate himself. Members of the
Osbourne clan will also provide commentary.
I'm happy that the boy got himself off the drugs. Lord knows the rest of
his family were probably too high themselves to even realize he had a
problem. Now if they could only get that weird ass daughter to stop using
whatever she's using, she'd stop making horrible records and there
would be peace throughout the land.
Brandy Gets Gangsta
Singer/actress Brandy's camp have confirmed rumors that she and husband
Robert Smith are legally separated and will be divorcing. While all this is
going on Brandy is diligently working on her new album with new producers.
The vast majority, if not all, of Brandy's next album will be produced by
none other than Tim "Timbaland" Mosely. He says the album will be something
the world has never heard from Brandy.
Timmy recently spoke with rollingstone.com and said, "I gave her a whole new style. She's not the Moesha Brandy that you're all used to. She's talking about people, she's
lashing back. She talks about Rodney. She talks about people in her business, her lifestyle, just not knowing the truth about her." The working title of the album is
B-Rocka and should be released during the Christmas season.
Okay, not only is Brandy running around talking about her new album sounding
so mature and edgy, now she has Timbaland co-signing this nonsense. Does
this woman really expect anyone to respect her gangsta? Brandy is less
gangsta than that damn Beyonce. If she thinks this new image will work out, more power to her. I personally don't want to hear Brandy callin' niggas out like some disgruntled rapper. I do hope it works for her.
Puffy Being Sued
Bad Boy Records impresario Sean "Puffy" Combs is being sued by a former
employee. Kirk Burrowes, the former president of Bad Boy Records is suing Combs for
$25 million. Burrowes claims that Puffy forced him out of his job and strong armed him into selling his 25% ownership of Bad Boy. Mr. Burrowes claims that Puffy walked into his office brandishing a baseball bat and forced him to give up his percentage of the company.
Puff claims that there is no truth to these allegations and says, "The allegations are pure fantasy. Kirk Burrowes hasn't been employed with Bad Boy for seven years and
now he makes up a fictional story for financial gain. He should be ashamed
of himself."
Puffy is so not gangsta that I seriously doubt he walked up in this dude's
office with a baseball bat demanding anything. Puffy's a punk. This story
sounds vaguely similar to the story about Puffy running up on Steve Stoute
of Sony Records and beating him senseless with a champagne bottle and a telephone.
That story included Puff and 2-3 bodyguards. Mr. Burrowes has not mentioned
any other participants in this act, which is likely to mean that it never happened. Puffy doesn't even wipe sweat from his own brow, forget about him threatening violence while he's alone. Kirk Burrowes sounds like he's in desperate need of some money and he's targeting Puff because it's easy to do. Unless Kirk comes up with some concrete evidence, it's highly unlikely anyone will be awarding him $25 million or any amount of money for that matter.
Kim Mathers Charged
A few weeks ago we talked about rapper Eminem's wife, Kim Mathers being
arrested for all types of moving violations and not wearing her seatbelt or
something to that effect. She was also found with bags of a powdery white
substance but was not charged because the substance needed to be sent to
some lab where they would determine whether or not there were drugs in the
bags. The results are in and Kim Mathers has been charged with cocaine
possession. She pleaded not guilty in a Michigan state court.
She was also arrested, but not convicted for the same charge back in 2001. If convicted
this time Mrs. Mathers can be sentenced to up to 5 years.
Well I'm surprised that such an upstanding citizen as Kim Mathers was riding
around town with drugs in her car. Not! She looks high all of the time.
Maybe she needs to go to jail and get her mind right. Even if she doesn't,
somebody needs to take her daughter from her. She has Em's poor little girl
looking like she's on drugs too.
