Ledisi Nominated for Two Grammys: Best New Artist + Best R&B Album
You’ve heard all the familiar names nominated in this year’s Grammy awards. I was scanning some of the others in the new artist category and did a triple take.
Ledisi is one of the artists I posted about this summer. I guess she really is Lost and Found. No need to double up, all that needs to be said is in the blurb, “Ledisi Lost and Found and Discovered for the First Time”. She probably sold a good handful of records, but now she has a step above anyone else on the grind circuit: promoting her shows as Grammy nominated singer Ledisi.
Looking even further, she’s also nominated for Best R&B album. I hope she pulls of the upset. At minimum she’ll have a nice seat for the show. Good luck!

I haven’t heard of her either but I will check her out. Thanks Chris, this maybe a nice Christmas gift to get. Amy Whinehouse SUCKS! I saw an interview with her and she is so reminiscient of those deadheads from the 60’s and 70’s that she can’t keep her thoughts straight. She needs to go to rehab and get off the scene. Her pr and managers should be ashamed of themselves for doing a Whitney and keeping her high and drunk so they can remain employed. With the exception of Milli Villnilli, winning a grammy would hurt her and her career.
She’s all over You-Tube and is one of the most amazing artists you will ever hear with a range out of this world. Give her a chance and check her out. Her version of Earth Wind and Fire’s Devotion confirms that she is a true heavyweight vocalist.

well well if you havent heard ledisi then wise up and check it out!
her first album “soulsinger” is currently like gold dust in the uk and her second “feeling orange sometimes blue” is even harder to find! but well worth the investment :@)
