Rewind That: Mary J Blige “Just Fine” Video Debut
Mary J Blige’s “Just Fine” video debuted today. It looks like the next thing she’ll release is a 3 set DVD compilation of the MJB Workout plan. The woman has lost a lot of weight. Going all the way back to What’s the 411, has she ever been this thin?
The song is already a fan certified hit. As someone who was getting tired of hearing how much pain and suffering she’s endured past, present, and three minutes ago, it really is a welcome change listening to a happier Mary let loose.
It’s a great thing the song is so good, because this is not the type of video that changes a person’s opinion of a song. There isn’t much to it. The magician/pyrotechnic special effects are cool and the solo nature of the video does allow you to focus on Mary, but there are some scenes that feel like there could have been more to them. I love the wardrobe changes, mainly because it ties into the fun feel of the song. But to the casual viewer it’s really an indifferent experience.
If you like the song and Mary you’re happy just to see her in action.

I love this New Mary I have her recent CD I can’t wait to see what she is singing about this time.
I like that song that song is off da hook. i really like that beat. I mean it’s a type music i can dance to release some of my stress.
I really like the song and the beat is hot I can hear the remixes coming and this will bang in the club… come on yall give to Mary she is happy an on the good foot..
uum I don’t think so.. Mary is dumbing herself down for no good reason.. she sounds like Ashanti here.. or even worse, JLo actually Ashanti writes for JLo so same difference.
I’m not feeling the happy music.. at least if you’re going to do happy, do it as well as “Not gon cry” or “Be Happy” make it gutteral.. all of this self affirmations aren’t for the fans, they’re for her.. give the people what they want, I’m so tired of artists being so self-involved..
let’s not forget for all of JLo’s happyness, her ass is about to get dropped for selling something like 36,000 albums TOTAL. haha
I LOVE THIS SONG…I GET LOOSE WHEN I HEAR IT IN THE CLUB…I THINK MARY HAS THAT VIBE WHERE YOU CAN FEEL WHERE SHE’S COMING FROM AND SHE SINGS FOR THOSE PEOPLE…I’M HAPPY FOR HER…AND JUST AS SHE IS, I’M FEELING JUST FINE TOO! I GUESS THATS WHY I VIBE SO HARD TO IT….GET IT MARY!
