Robert Downey Jr. Looking for a Fight with The Dark Night: You’re So F—king Smart

So you haven’t seen the biggest movie of the summer yet? That’s okay, if you have anything less than a Masters degree from Yale, it’s probably not for you anyway.

That’s what Robert Downey Jr. came away with after watching it on an Imax screen.

“My whole thing is that I saw ‘The Dark Knight’. I feel like I’m dumb because I feel like I don’t get things that are so smart. It’s like a Ferrari engine of storytelling and script writing and I’m like, ‘That’s not my idea of what I want to see in a movie.’ I loved ‘The Prestige’ but didn’t understand ‘The Dark Knight’. Didn’t get it, still can’t tell you what happened in the movie, what happened to the character, and in the end they need him to be a bad guy.

I’m like, ‘I get it. This is so high brow and so f—king smart, I clearly need a college education to understand this movie.’ You know what?
F-ck DC comics! That’s all I have to say and that’s where I’m really coming from.”

There you go, bring that old Marvel vs. DC comics beef to life…  Iron Man vs. Batman. And look at that, he’s got Spidey with him. That’s an easy DC ass-kicking ready to go.

I hope Downey isn’t trying to start something with Nolan or Bale. I’d love to see him to work with either of them. He did say he likes ‘The Prestige.’

Of course, box office results say so otherwise, but I guess they don’t really count, now do they?

What?F-ck DC comics? I think you can go and F-ck your Iron Man Downey!

Lmfao, Downey kicks ass!

He shouldn’t have said f**k DC comics though, he’s gonna get bashed on.

Iron Man was better than Dark Knight, it had less flaws and no cheesy lines.

And Dark Knight WAS somewhat complicated, you’d have to see it atleast 3 times to fully get it >_>

Wow. I can only hope that he is kidding…

To Mr. Downey, I would say Iron Man was a really fun superhero movie, but The Dark Knight was a very good film.

I think Mr. Downey is really just poking some fun at a rival summer film. I look forward to seeing him in the next Iron Man installment and other crossovers from Marvel Films.

What I really look forward to, however, is a third Nolan/Bale Batman film…

Downey is drunk!

Downey was probably drunk while watching the Dark Knight.

The bogus “complexity” of Batman came from bad and confused screenwriting and directing, which is what you get when the dumbot british try to interpret American society. They fail. They can’t do it, and The Americans use the brits as the dumb, gay, cultureless, sexless, robot B*T*C*HES they are, and everyone knows it.

True.
He is right.  the movie editing process could have done much better. the movie was jumpy from the first. i call it hyper attention disorder movie that was. the Studio should review all the editors performances and abilities. cuz, it could ruin the great movies to the dust.
