This past Sunday, Teairra Mari performed at the 2009 Children Uniting Nations Awards in Beverly Hills, California. A foundation created to “protect the children who have no voice, whose fragile lives are being abused and lost by the millions due to uncertainties out of their control.” Yes, I copied that straight from their site. Ha. If you’re feeling charitable with time or money get familiar with their cause - “How You Can Help”.

Last week, Teairra chatted it up with Angela Yee on Sirius/XM’s Shade 45 in the Morning. In addition to talking about her new album - set for release this year - Teairra Mari spoke about the cold drop from Roc-A-Fella and her ex-boyfriend/aspiring rapper, who, let’s just say, had the quick jab of Chris Brown. Spoiler alert: she skipped town before the bruising got serious. Sounds like a daytime soap, Rihanna 2.0.
