Girlfight!

Rumors began swirling earlier this week that rapper Foxy Brown and Miami rapper Jacki O. had a physical altercation in a Miami studio. Foxy's camp will not respond to the rumors at this point, but Jacki O is very open about what happened and is not ashamed to say that she won the fight.

Jacki claims that Fox showed up at the studio at 2 a.m. to see Gravy, the producer Jacki was working with and to possibly get on the song with Jacki. Jacki spoke with MTV and said, "I did not go there to get in no altercation. I went to work, and I did not know I would be winning an ass-kicking contest."

Allegedly, Foxy did not appreciate the greeting given to her by Jacki O. By some accounts Jacki was writing a song at the time of Foxy's arrival and gave her a head nod, which Brown took as disrespect. This supposedly caused Foxy to start talking crazy and calling Jacki O names. Jacki says that Foxy went on a rampage and said, "You don't know who the fuck I am? I'm Fox Boogie. You act like you can't speak to me when you see me? You don't know who the fuck I am? You need to bow down. That's what's wrong with y'all new rapper ho's."

Jacki explained, "It was like she was going to bust a blood vessel. I'm sitting in the booth and she's like, 'This bitch don't know, I'm about to slap the shit out of her. I hear 'this bitch' this, 'this bitch' that. ... I was every name in the book. You would think that someone who has been in the game as long as she has would have more respect than to interrupt somebody's session. She's coming in, being disrespectful and wanting someone to bow down."

After Jacki had heard enough, she and Foxy got into a brief physical fight, which was broken up, although Jacki claims that there was no fight to break up because Fox never hit her.

Even though Jacki is bragging about winning an ass-kicking contest, she also seemed to show some remorse for the incident, as she deemed it unnecessary for two females in hip-hop to be at odds with one another. She said, "The game is so fucked up because there's no affirmative action in hip-hop. Being that we women are finally getting the opportunity to be in this business, you would think a veteran who has experienced the ups and downs, who knows how this game is, would have little bit more respect. I didn't look to get in no altercation, but when you come from where I come from, you gotta protect yourself. That's exactly what I had to do."

Foxy or her label, Def Jam have not responded or offered any statements about this incident.

Okay, this is ridiculous on so many levels. I hope Foxy is not popping those pills again. If she did in fact go into the studio trying to get Jacki to bow down to her, then she deserved to get her ass beat. I don't know who Foxy thinks she is, but she needs to calm down. Yeah, she's an ill rapper, but so what? It doesn't mean anyone else has to care, and certainly not another rapper. Poor Foxy has bought into her own hype and is at this point, is the only believer. She needs to put all that energy she's using on nonsense like believing she's the greatest of all time and get an album out.

Now, I don't know how true the story is that Foxy went to the studio to try and get on a Jacki O. record. That sounds very ridiculous. Even though Foxy hasn't put an album out in many years, she will never need to be on a Jacki O record. I couldn't see her even wanting to be on a Jacki O record. That's kind of a step back for Foxy. No, that's a few steps back. I don't know what Jacki O means to Miami, but please. She is not on Foxy's level. I've heard like one Jacki O song and it was quite underwhelming. She's not fit to be Foxy's hype man. So though I love Fox, if she carried on the way Jacki O claims, she deserved to be brought down a couple notches.

These women are a little too old for this nonsense. I don't know how old Jacki O is, but she looks old enough to be Foxy's great-grandmother and Foxy is like 25. That is ridiculous. And I want Jacki O to stop with her affirmative action, I have a dream speech. She's talking crazy. She's talking about women finally getting into the game. Where the hell has she been? Fox is damn near 10 years deep in this hip-hop thing and she's been nothing but a problem the entire time. She's always involved in some altercation or other. It's just her way and that probably won't change until she retires and even then, I'm sure she'll still be a terror. Women will be women and they're catty by nature, so Jacki can end her wishes for love and peace amongst the women folk right now.

Back to Foxy needing a new album, Where is it? What good is Jay-Z? He's the CEO of Def Jam, where the hell are the releases? I've heard nothing from any of these people he has on his label and then he has this girl in Miami getting into street fights. He needs to get it together up there and get my damn Foxy album out now.

Memphis Bleek Arrested
Def Jam rapper, Memphis Bleek, whose real name is Malik Cox was arrested on Thursday. Details are sketchy but apparently a bus boy at NV night club in NYC has accused Memphis Bleek and his associate Ravell Talik Smith of assault. Supposedly the bus boy tried to clean off their table in the VIP section of the club and Bleek and Ravell began kicking and punching him, resulting in the loss of the bus boy's tooth. Bleek and Smith were both arrested and will be charged with misdemeanor assault.

Bleek's new album "534" will be in stores on May 17.

I have so many questions, most of which have nothing to do with the alleged attack on the bus boy. First of all, I had no idea people still went to NV, I am so out of the loop. NV was like the hottest shit in NYC from like 1998 up until a few years ago. It could still be the hottest thing in NYC, but I'm clueless. Once I stop going somewhere I think it no longer exists, so that is really probably just me being out of the loop. Second, who the hell is Ravell Talik Smith and why is his full government out there like that after an arrest? Who does that?

Now for the actual assault, well there has got to be more to this story. If this assault took place, there had to be more to it than Bleek and Ravell Talik Smith attacking this bus boy for wiping off a table. He needs to tell the whole story, because his version sounds awfully suspect. Bus boy, what did you do to make them hit you.. if they did in fact hit you? I'm not too sure this happened at all. Then we have that Bleek album. Is this what Jay's up at Def Jam doing, working on Memphis Bleek albums? He must be stopped. Not that this album can't be Bleek's greatest work yet, but it really wouldn't be hard for it to be his best, because all his previous albums were trash. No one needs any more Memphis Bleek music. If he can prove me wrong, I dare him.

Jay-Z is up there running things amock at Def Jam, they need to force him to resign. All of his artists are out there fighting and going to jail. He is not on his j-o-b. While on the topic of Jay-Z, he is in the process of releasing an S.Carter line of three-piece suits. He claims they're for the grown men like him who still wear baggy jeans and street clothes. Well, good for Jay. From throwbacks, to button down shirts to three-piece suits. He's only like 75 years old, it's about time he started dressing like it.

I'm sure this will be a good thing for him and for full grown men with a liking for suits. When Jigga talks people listen. My brother, who is 11, has been rocking button down shirts ever since Jay-Z said so. His influence on the streets is out of control. I hope the suits are nice and not outrageously expensive.

Game Sued for $280 Million
Rapper Game, whose given name is Jayceon Taylor, is being sued for $280 million. The lawsuit stems from an altercation that occurred on January 21, where Game is accused of assaulting DJ Zulu a D.C. radio personality, while in the WKYS studio. Another man named Kwasi Jones also claims to have been injured in the altercation at the radio station. Rappers 50 Cent and Eminem, along with producer Dr. Dre were also named in the lawsuit. Kwasi Jones is seeking damages for intentional infliction of emotional distress and negligence.

After the incident Game released a remix to his hit song "Hate It or Love It", where he bragged about the attack by saying, "I'm rap's MVP/ Don't make me remind y'all what happened in D.C." These lyrics are the reason for Jone's "emotional stress." Jones' lawyer Stephanie Moran says, "As our lawsuit points out, it's based on the fact that a lot of these record labels and rappers pride themselves on careers based on street credibility. Their records sell more when they do something in the public eye that gives street credibility to their image. Clearly, putting lyrics in the song regarding this incident helped sell records. Artists should not be able to profit from alleged incidents where people are physically harmed."

The Game has issued a public apology to Radio 1, via an appearance on BET. He claimed that he was sorry about what happened and that it wouldn't happen again. One would think that there would be no chance of a repeat opportunity for Game to attack the station employees, because he wouldn't be invited back, but stranger things have happened. Game is due to appear in court on June 20th to answer criminal charges.

I don't want to talk about this too much, because the whole thing is out of control. Game was wrong for attacking the D.J. as well as Kwasi Jones, whoever he may be. It is even more ridiculous that Jones is suing Game, and every person Game has ever met in his life, for $280 million. I really hate when people sue for outlandish amounts of money over small things. I know he was allegedly injured, but I'm sure any injuries he suffered weren't $280 million injuries. I'm sure he won't be awarded that much if anything.

His lawyer talks a good game about rappers profiting from alleged assaults by talking about them in their songs. What she needs to do is sit her client down and tell him that victims of assaults do not need to legally extort rappers for money they don't have.

Game needs to settle down. He's much too reckless for his own good. He kind of reminds me of Shyne and we all see where all that gangsta shit landed Shyne's ass. I think Game needs anger management. I can't wait to see how much money Kwasi Jones is actually awarded.

Puffy To Tackle Latin Music
According to the Miami Herald, Bad Boy CEO Sean "Puffy" Combs is going to delve into the world of Latin music. Puffy says, "It's one of the fastest growing styles in the world--it can't be ignored. The combination of what I do with hip-hop and Hispanic's reflection of what's going on in their lives, means we can make a lot of hit records together."

That's really cute that he wants to do Latin music, but why? It's always been around and he was never interested before. He claims what he does with hip-hop will go well with Hispanic music. What the hell does he do with hip-hop? I'm talking recently, not what he's done in the past. I guess when you have as much time and money as Puff, you do what you feel. I hope it works for him, but I am doubtful.

I clearly remember the last time he called himself doing something different and signed that rock group Fuzz Bubble to Bad Boy. Anyone remember Fuzz Bubble? Didn't think so.

Wendy Williams
According to NY Daily News columnist Jawn Murray, there are rumors that syndicated radio personality Wendy Williams is being courted by Los Angeles radio station, The Beat, to host their morning show.

I have no idea if that's true, but I don't see how Wendy could turn down an offer like that. She would pretty much have the entire country on lock if she did and she'd probably make a lot of money doing it.
